Project Officer – Portfolio Management and Assurance

Location: Sydney CBD

Employment Type: Temporary full-time (up to April 2028)

Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8 $116,981 to $129,492pa. + super + leave loading

Your role

As part of the Portfolio Management and Assurance team (PMA), you will prepare project documents, provide regular status updates, and undertake research and analysis to support informed decision making.

What you’ll do

You’ll source, collate and compile data to identify emerging issues and conduct project reviews.

Design, develop and co-ordinate project documentation (templates, forms, presentations, and processes).

Contribute to the maintenance of Action, Issue, Risk and Decision Made logs.

You will also develop an effective network of both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project implementation.

What we’re looking for The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Proven ability to manage diverse projects while supporting Portfolio Management and Assurance team functions.

Experience engaging and consulting with stakeholders effectively.

Background in project and/or program management.

Experience in preparing a variety of project-related documentation, including status updates, reports, budgets, and discussion papers as required.
