Lead Psychology practice and make a meaningful difference in community-based care.
Permanent versatile part-time opportunity (60.8 hours per fortnight) for an Advanced Clinical Leader Psychologist based at Eight Mile Plains, leading high-quality community-based Psychology services across chronic disease and rehabilitation care.
Your Recent Role
As an Advanced Clinical Leader, you'll combine specialist clinical expertise with professional leadership to help deliver safe, evidence-based and person-centred Psychology services across community-based chronic disease and rehabilitation care, by:
- Providing advanced assessment, treatment and consultancy for people with complex needs.
- Leading and supporting a team of community-based Psychologists through supervision, mentoring and professional governance.
- Providing clinical leadership across Chronic Disease and MSH@Home services, including diabetes, pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation.
- Supporting innovative models of care, workforce planning and service development.
- Using data, research and outcome measures to drive quality improvement and better patient outcomes.
- Building strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams and with internal and external stakeholders.
About you You're an experienced Psychologist who brings advanced clinical capability, strong leadership skills and a commitment to improving community-based care, with:
- General registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
- Advanced clinical expertise and the ability to work independently with complex presentations.
- Strong communication, collaboration,
supervision and mentoring skills.
- Experience leading teams, managing workloads and supporting workforce development.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and evaluate clinical practices, service models and procedures.
- Experience contributing to service improvement, innovation, research or evidence-based practice.
- Clinical, Health Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology endorsement will be highly regarded, as will relevant postgraduate qualifications in leadership, management or service redesign.
