An established Catholic primary school in the Western suburbs of Melbourne is looking for a Primary PE Specialist to join their team from Term 1, 2027 in an ongoing 0.7 EFT position.

Approximately 0.6 EFT is dedicated to teaching PE, with the remaining time providing an opportunity to take ownership of the school's sporting program. This includes planning and coordinating events such as athletics and swimming carnivals, interschool sport, and winter and summer sporting programs.

This is a fantastic role at a fantastic Primary School that would suit someone who enjoys being active in school life, knows how to get students excited about sport and is organised enough to turn a valuable idea into an event that actually runs well!

The Role

- Teach engaging PE programs across Foundation to Year 6
- Permanent part time position
- Commencing Term 1 2027
- Plan and coordinate school sporting events and carnivals
- Organise and support interschool sporting opportunities




- Coordinate winter and summer sporting programs
- Encourage participation and create positive sporting experiences for all students
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and the wider school community
- Teach classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

About you

- Primary trained with experience teaching PE
- Current VIT registration or eligibility
- Confident teaching across Foundation to Year 6
- Organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership
- Strong relationship-building skills with students, staff and families
- Someone who genuinely enjoys school sport and wants to make a difference beyond the PE lesson
