Position: Senior Accountant – Property
Package: Up to $150,000 package
Location: Sydney (hybrid working)

You will have exposure to sophisticated institutional property investment while working within a highly experienced and cooperative team. About the role:
This opportunity is a critical finance role, responsible for the preparation of accurate and insightful financial, taxation and management reporting for the business.

- Manage monthly fund accounting and prepare financial reporting and NAV packs.
- Coordinate annual statutory reporting, external audits, distributions and tax returns.
- Prepare BAS/GST reporting, information for Board approval.




- Monitor debt compliance requirements.
- Prepare monthly NPI and capital expenditure reporting.
- Support property acquisitions, including reviewing settlement adjustments and liaising with property managers and internal finance teams.
- Assist with the establishment and onboarding of new funds and investment entities.
- Work closely with property managers, investment, asset management and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Assist with custody-related requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business or a related.
- CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Relevant experience within funds management, property, asset management.
- Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and analytical capabilities.
- Exposure to fund accounting, real estate investments, debt compliance, treasury or transaction-related activities will be highly regarded.
- Experience with accounting and reporting systems such as Xero and Sage Intacct would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail.
