- 10-month Fixed Term | 80 hours per fortnight
- 80 hours per fortnight with a Monthly Accrued Day Off (ADO)

- $33.38 per hour + Superannuation (Executive Assistant Component) | $37.22 per hour + Superannuation (Medical Education Officer Component)

Two rewarding roles in one dynamic position

Western District Health Service is seeking a highly organised and proactive skilled to join our team as Executive Assistant Chief Medical Officer | Medical Education Officer.

This unique dual-function role is split approximately 50% Executive Assistant and 50% Medical Education Officer, providing a diverse and rewarding opportunity to support both executive leadership and the development of our medical workforce.

Working closely with the Chief Medical Officer and the Learning & Capability Team, you will play a critical role in supporting executive operations, coordinating governance activities and delivering high-quality education and onboarding experiences for medical staff.

What You'll Be Doing

Executive Assistant Support

Provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Medical Officer, including calendar management, meeting coordination, agenda preparation, minute taking, correspondence management and executive support activities.

Governance & Administration

Support governance, policy review, risk management activities and assist in the preparation of reports, submissions and organisational documentation.

Medical Workforce Education

Coordinate medical inductions, support medical workforce education programs and work collaboratively with the Learning & Capability Team to deliver positive learning experiences and outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement

Build effective working relationships across the organisation, supporting communication and collaboration between departments,



visiting medical officers and external stakeholders.

Project & Continuous Improvement Support

Contribute to organisational projects, identify opportunities for process improvement and support the implementation of efficient business practices.

What You Bring

- Demonstrated experience supporting executives and providing high-level administrative support
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Experience coordinating meetings, preparing reports and managing correspondence
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency across Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments
- Demonstrated initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Current Driver's Licence
- NDIS Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Rights to work in Australia
