Qualified Educator

We're looking for a warm, professional and committed Qualified Educator to join our team at Only About Children Coogee Carr St.

This is a chance to bring your Certificate III qualification into a campus where relationships matter, children are known as individuals and your everyday care supports meaningful learning.

There's a warm, community feel to working at Coogee Carr St, with the beach close by and the everyday energy of Coogee woven into the campus experience. Located on Carr Street, just a short walk or drive from Coogee Beach and close to transport links, the campus feels connected, convenient and full of local life.

Inside, Coogee Carr St has a generous, playful and nurturing feel. Children enjoy seven age-based indoor learning spaces and two dedicated outdoor play areas, with features like a bike track, fairy garden, slide and large sandpits supporting exploration and self-led play. About The Role

As a Qualified Educator, you'll deliver high-quality education and care with increasing independence and professional judgement.

You'll support children's learning, wellbeing and routines, contribute to planning and documentation, and help create safe,



inclusive environments where children feel confident, curious and connected.

What You'll Do

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the EYLF and OAC Grow Curriculum.
- Support children's wellbeing, routines, agency and sense of belonging through responsive everyday practice.
- Observe, analyse and document children's learning, interests and development with increasing autonomy.
- Set up and adapt learning environments that promote curiosity, inclusion and engagement.
- Build respectful, trusting relationships with families and communicate confidently about children's routines and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, Room Leaders and Educational Leaders to support consistency and quality.
- Contribute to reflective practice, QIP activities, compliance and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

- Completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Demonstrated experience as an educator in an early childhood education and care setting.
- Sound understanding of EYLF, NQF and child development principles.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- Strong communication skills with children, families and colleagues.
- Commitment to child safety, wellbeing and children's rights.
- Current Working with Children Check and relevant state-based child protection clearance.
