About the role

Chapman Carpentry and Construction PTY LTD is seeking a Qualified Carpenter to join our growing team in Mount Isa, QLD. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on diverse carpentry and construction projects in a dynamic regional setting. As a key member of our carpentry team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality construction work across residential, commercial and industrial projects.

What you'll be doing

- General carpentry, construction, maintenance and repair works
- Framing, fit-outs, renovations and finishing works
- Reading and working from plans and scopes of work
- Working independently and alongside other trades
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe worksite
- Producing quality work to a high standard
- Looking after tools and equipment
- Following all workplace health and safety requirements

What we're looking for

- Certificate III in Carpentry




- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality craftsmanship
- Reliable, punctual and ready to work
- Honest, respectful and easy to work with
- Flexible across a variety of jobs - no two days will necessarily look the same
- Represents Chapman Carpentry & Construction professionally when on site
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle – fuel card provided, with the prospect for a company vehicle in the future
- Own tools – all consumables supplied by the company
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
