Qualified Electrician - Brisbane & SEQ

GAP Industries is looking for experienced Qualified Electricians to join our growing team across Brisbane and Southeast Queensland.

We’re looking to hear from reliable, skilled electricians who take pride in their work and are interested in working across a variety of commercial and industrial projects.

About GAP Industries

GAP Industries delivers Electrical, Communications and Mechanical HVAC services across Southeast and Northern Queensland.

Our team works across a diverse range of projects within the Defence, healthcare, government, construction and commercial sectors, including specialised facilities, factories, warehouses and commercial buildings.

About the Role

Depending on your experience, your work may include:

- Commercial and industrial electrical installations
- Electrical upgrades, repairs and maintenance
- Cable, cable support, switchboard and equipment installation
- Electrical testing and fault finding
- Reading and interpreting electrical plans and specifications
- Working across project, service and maintenance environments
- Completing testing records and job documentation
- Working alongside supervisors, clients and other trades
- Supporting apprentices when required
- Maintaining high safety, quality and presentation standards

What We’re Looking For





Essential:

- Qualified Electrician
- Current Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence
- Construction White Card
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Current CPR and Low Voltage Rescue certification
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Reliable and professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commercial or industrial electrical experience is highly regarded. Additional experience with Working at Heights, EWP, First Aid, data cabling or Defence projects will also be viewed favourably.
