We are seeking experienced Functional Automation Testers to support the delivery of enterprise digital transformation initiatives. Working within a collaborative Agile environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of modern business applications built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.

This is a hands-on testing role requiring a combination of manual testing expertise, automation development skills, and experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business and functional requirements and develop effective test strategies and test cases.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated UI and API test suites.
- Test Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Pages, and Dataverse-based applications.
- Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.
- Support end-to-end business process validation across enterprise systems.
- Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and project teams to ensure quality outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing practice.

Required Skills & Experience

- Australian Citizen or Baseline Cleared
- Demonstrated experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Microsoft Power Platform applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.

- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Strong automation testing experience using tools such as:
- Playwright
- Selenium
- EasyRepro
- Other comparable automation frameworks
- Experience with API and integration testing using tools such as:
- Postman/Newman
- REST Assured
- Playwright API Testing
- Experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with:
- Azure DevOps
- Visual Studio Code (VS Code)
- Git or other source control platforms
- Test management and defect tracking tools
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and SDLC principles.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly across multiple projects and changing business priorities.

Additional Skills highly sought

- ISTQB Automation Testing Certification or similar.
- Deep experience with Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, and Power BI environments.
- Experience testing server-side plugins, custom APIs, API Management integrations, and environment configuration.
- Experience using Jira alongside Azure DevOps.
- Previous experience working within Government or highly regulated environments.
