​The Role

​We are seeking an experienced Excavator & Wheel Loader Operator (or a skilled specialist in either machine) to join our team at the Big Blue Quarry in Runnymede. ​In this role, you will play a key part in daily extraction, aggregate stockpiling, crusher feeding, and loading road transport trucks to keep our operations running smoothly.

​Key Responsibilities

- ​Safe and efficient operation of heavy excavators and wheel loaders within a hard rock quarry environment.
- ​Feeding crushing and screening plant, stockpiling materials, and loading road haulage trucks.
- ​Conducting daily pre-start inspections and basic preventative maintenance on machinery.




- ​Adhering strictly to site safety plans, environmental standards, and WHS guidelines.
- ​Working collaboratively with site management, truck drivers, and crushing crews.

​Skills & Qualifications

- ​Proven experience operating heavy excavators and/or wheel loaders in a quarry, mining, or heavy civil construction setting.
- ​Valid RII competencies for Excavator (RIIMPO320F) and/or Wheel Loader (RIIMPO304E) preferred.
- ​Solid understanding of quarry safety protocols, bench management, and material handling.
- ​White Card (CPCWHS1001).
- ​Valid Driver’s License (HR license advantageous).
- ​A self-motivated, safety-first attitude and strong work ethic.
