Your Impact

Based at Southbank HQ, reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer, this leadership role encompasses implementing the purpose, vision, strategies and governance of Procurement. You’ll promote unity among regions, ensuring adherence to governance and policies, protecting company assets and upholding reputation. Advocating for sustainable procurement and innovation, supporting category strategies, and participating in relevant committees are key components of this role.

You’ll also drive operational excellence and implement global Procurement operations and technical competency frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Champion digital transformation within Procurement, focusing on automation, data integrity, system adoption, and performance enablement.
- Lead change management, training, and communication between GPO and AHA Procurement to ensure successful system adoption and stakeholder engagement.
- Act as the Regional Spend Lead for AHA, partnering with regional category heads to ensure data accuracy and consistency for spend analytics and strategic decision-making.
- Represent AHA Procurement in global forums and act as the regional voice in engagement with GPO and AHA executive leadership during global rollouts and transformation programs.
- Foster a “one team” mindset across regions, promoting standardised processes, knowledge sharing, and aligned ways of working.
- Ensure adherence to defined procurement governance, policies, and processes through effective design, implementation,



and continuous monitoring, leveraging global ways of working where possible.
- Safeguard company assets by establishing robust internal controls and compliance procedures across procurement operations.
- Protect Asahi’s reputation by ensuring procurement practices align with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Lead delivery of the Procurement & Cost Optimisation Transformation pipeline aligned with Mid-Term plan targets.
- Actively contribute to Transformation governance forums, shaping strategic priorities and identifying additional value opportunities.
- Identify and mitigate risks and unlock transformation opportunities through Integrated Business Planning processes.

About You

- Experience in Procurement, ideally with broad exposure to category management, strategic sourcing and operational procurement.
- Demonstrated achievement of continuous improvement, change management and in the training and development of teams.
- Proven ability to effectively respond to changing industry dynamics, changing priorities and ambiguity.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, SAP, Ariba (preferred).
