What you'll be doing

As a Registered Midwife, you will provide high-quality, evidence-informed and person-centred care while responding confidently to changing clinical priorities. You will advocate for patients and families, collaborate across disciplines and contribute to a positive learning environment. Key responsibilities will be to:

- Deliver safe, effective and individualised care that meets the needs of patients and families

- Assess changing patient needs,



prioritise care and respond appropriately in a busy clinical environment

- Communicate effectively and advocate for patients, families and carers

- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and appropriately delegate care within scope and competence

- Support students and junior team members through supervision, mentoring and clinical leadership

You will be a current AHPRA-registered Registered Midwife with relevant clinical experience, strong communication skills and the ability to organise and prioritise effectively. - Registration: Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife

Selection Criteria:

Previous relevant clinical experience in speciality.

2. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.

3. Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal.

4. Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

5. Commitment to continuing professional development.

6. Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team.
