An exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with a robust interest in and a commitment to nursing, to join our very experienced and dedicated team on Ward 2D - Cardiology, Coronary Care and Respiratory

Employment Type: Temporary Full Time until 18 June 2027 (with possibility of ongoing employment)

Remuneration: $1,566.70 - $2,199.60 per week

Where you'll be working

Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital’s Cardiology, Coronary Care and Respiratory ward is a 24-bed service with an 8 bed CCU. The ward caters for acute Medical, Cardiology and Respiratory patients that require close and cardiac monitoring.



The department offers supported learning and professional development with a rotating roster including weekends and night shifts.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Registered Nurse applicant you will be working in a busy ward environment, caring for Adult patients with a wide spectrum of Medical, Cardiac and Respiratory presentations. You will be working within an amazing team of health professionals, all working as a multi disciplinary team to provide the best health care for our community.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following

- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
- A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the Registered Nurse.
