Job Description

Emergency Department Registrar needed to join a busy metropolitan ED managing a broad and diverse patient population. You will gain exposure to a high volume of adult and paediatric presentations, working alongside experienced FACEMs in a supportive training environment.

The role offers excellent experience in acute medicine, trauma, and resuscitation, making it well suited to doctors pursuing Emergency Medicine training or looking to strengthen their acute care skills within a major metropolitan service.

Its Emergency Department is a busy, well-supported service managing a broad spectrum of medical, surgical, paediatric, and trauma presentations.

Supported by modern resuscitation bays, short stay services, and strong inpatient specialty backup, the ED offers excellent clinical exposure and hands-on procedural experience. The department has a collaborative culture with a solid focus on teaching, supervision, and registrar development.

ACEM accredited for

- 3-month Anaesthetic rotations

- 6 month ACEM accredited ICU rotations
n
- Accredited for the paediatric log book
n

Requirements

n

n
- Hold current AHPRA registration (Limited level 2, Provisional or General registration).
n
- For overseas candidates with strong ED experience eligible via AHPRA provisional registration are encouraged to apply

- For overseas candidates eligible via Standard pathway with a minimum of 8+ years of dedicated ED experience, are encouraged to apply
