Remedial Massage Therapist | Community Role

Canberra ACT | $75,000–$85,000 super | Full-Time or Part-Time

At Summit Health Solutions, we're looking for a Remedial Massage Therapist to build a regular community caseload supporting people in their own homes across Canberra.

You'll work independently in the community, but not in isolation. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists and Social Workers, often supporting shared clients and working towards the same goals through our connected clinical notes.

We provide the referrals. We manage your bookings and schedule. Our accounts team handles invoicing. You focus on your clients – with a team around you.

Full-time salary depending on experience, with part-time arrangements also available.

Up to 7 clients per day

Your day is structured to allow time for treatment, travel, resetting and completing client notes – not simply squeezing in as many appointments as possible.

A diary managed for you

Our Admin team coordinates referrals, bookings and scheduling and aims to geographically group your clients, generally keeping travel between appointments to around 5–10 minutes where possible.

Security when clients cancel

You're an employee. A cancellation doesn't suddenly mean an unpaid hour. Use the time to review notes, complete CPD, check in with Admin, discuss a client with our Clinical Team Leader or prepare for your next appointment.

No need to find your own clients

Summit has an established community and aged-care referral network. There's no marketing yourself, chasing bookings or invoicing clients at the end of the day.

Stay connected and keep developing

You'll be supported by our Clinical Team Leader, Admin and People & Culture teams,



with quarterly professional development workshops based around clinical themes across our team and caseload.

We also make time for team and social events so working on the road doesn't mean working in isolation.

What will you do?

You'll predominantly work with older adults living independently in their own homes.

Your clients may be experiencing muscular pain and tightness, persistent musculoskeletal conditions, reduced movement or changes in their ability to stay active.

Your work may include

- Remedial massage and soft tissue therapy

- Gentle stretching and mobility support

- Monitoring changes in pain, movement and function

- Providing appropriate self-management strategies

- Maintaining clear and timely client notes

- Communicating relevant observations with the wider allied health or care team

About you

You don't need years of aged-care experience.





We're looking for a capable Remedial Massage Therapist who enjoys working with people, communicates well and values having the time to provide thoughtful, individualised care.

You'll need

- Diploma of Remedial Massage

- Current professional association membership

- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance

- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle

- Working With Vulnerable People Registration and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain them
- A warm, professional and reliable approach to working in clients' homes

Experience with older adults or community health is welcome, but not essential.
