We're building a small pool of therapists for fill-in work across the Hunter.

Hunter Homecare Massage is a Maitland-based mobile remedial massage service. We see older Australians in their own homes, funded through Support at Home and Home Care Packages. Most clients are on a regular weekly or fortnightly schedule.

This isn't a full book of work, and we'd rather be straight about that. We're looking for three or four therapists who want the occasional job — covering when one of our regulars is away, or picking up one-offs as they come up. Some weeks there'll be nothing. Some weeks there'll be two or three days. If you already run your own practice and want to top it up on your terms, that's exactly who this suits.

What we pay

$95 per one-hour session. If you're GST registered, you invoice $95 plus GST. That's the rate for daytime weekday work — we don't take a commission and there's nothing deducted.

How it works

You get the shift details in advance — client, suburb, session length, access notes — and decide whether to take it.



Work is grouped geographically where we can, so you're not crossing the region in a day. Monday to Friday. No weekends.

Areas

Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Port Stephens, Cessnock, Morisset, Swansea and Stockton. You choose where you'll travel.

What you'll need

Certificate IV or Diploma in Remedial Massage. Current membership with a recognised massage association. Current skilled indemnity and public liability insurance. Current first aid certificate. National Police Check no older than three years, or willingness to get one. One professional reference. An ABN, your own table and linen, and a reliable vehicle.

You work with us as an independent contractor, which means you look after your own tax, super, travel costs and insurances. We'd rather say that plainly now than have it come as a surprise later.
