About the role

We are seeking a Retail Assistant to join the team at Parkland Mity Mart in Lavington NSW 2641. This is a casual position offering flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail environment. As a Retail Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring our store operates smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Your contribution will directly impact customer satisfaction and help drive the success of our retail operations.

What you'll be doing

- Providing friendly and efficient customer service at point of sale and throughout the store
- Processing customer transactions accurately using the till system
- Restocking shelves and maintaining product displays to ensure they are organised, clean and visually appealing
- Assisting customers in locating products and answering enquiries about merchandise
- Handling stock deliveries and checking items against delivery documentation
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the store, including aisles and stockroom areas
- Supporting the store team with promotional activities and seasonal displays
- Following health and safety procedures and company policies at all times

What we're looking for

- Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues
- A friendly, helpful and professional demeanour
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently, particularly when handling transactions




- Reliability and a flexible approach to working casual hours, including potential weekend and evening availability
- Basic numeracy skills and comfort using point-of-sale systems
- Physical ability to lift and carry stock items and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a team-focused environment
