About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Retail Buyer to join our team. The Retail Buyer will be responsible for selecting and managing product ranges, balancing customer demand, brand strategy, supplier relationships, inventory levels and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse sales, customer and market data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Research market trends and competitor activity to support product decisions.
- Plan and manage product ranges in line with business and customer requirements.
- Develop and implement buying strategies and work plans.
- Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers.




- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Place, monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Review pricing, stock levels, margins and overall product performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability and inventory efficiency.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure products are delivered effectively and meet business requirements.

Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 12 months’ experience in a Retail Buyer or similar buying role.
- Strong research and market data analysis skills.
- Ability to develop strategies and translate them into effective work plans.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Excellent commercial and business acumen.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, results-driven approach with solid attention to detail.
