Our pharmacy is rebranding and will become Discount Drug Store Fairfield Gardens from mid-October, creating a fresh new store environment for our team and local community.

As part of this exciting change, we are looking for two enthusiastic, customer-focused people to join our retail team:

- Retail Manager – Part Time, with potential for Full Time
- Pharmacy Assistant – Retail – Full Time

Better still, both opportunities offer Monday to Friday hours only, with no weekend work!

RETAIL MANAGER – PART TIME WITH POTENTIAL FOR FULL TIME

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the front-of-shop retail setting at the newly rebranded Discount Drug Store Fairfield Gardens.

As our Retail Manager, you will take a hands-on approach to the day-to-day management and presentation of the retail area, helping establish strong retail standards within our new store environment.

You will lead by example, creating a welcoming experience for customers while supporting the team across customer service, merchandising and general retail operations.

Your responsibilities will include

- Leading and supporting the retail team
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Coordinating day-to-day front-of-shop operations
- Maintaining merchandising and promotional displays
- Monitoring stock presentation and availability
- Assisting with team training and onboarding
- Supporting rostering and staff performance
- Maintaining a well-presented and organised retail environment

We are looking for someone who is organised, approachable and confident taking responsibility for a busy retail environment.

Previous retail management or supervisory experience will be highly regarded, with pharmacy retail experience an advantage.

The position is initially Part Time,



with the potential to move into Full Time employment.

PHARMACY ASSISTANT – RETAIL – FULL TIME

We are also looking for a Full Time Pharmacy Assistant to work alongside and support our Retail Manager.

This is specifically a retail-focused position. There are no dispensing duties involved.

Your focus will be on providing great service to our customers and helping keep the front-of-shop running smoothly. You will assist with sales, stock, merchandising and general retail activities while helping create a welcoming and well-presented environment.

Your responsibilities will include

- Greeting and assisting customers
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Processing retail sales
- Replenishing and presenting stock
- Maintaining merchandising and promotional displays
- Keeping the retail area clean, organised and inviting
- Assisting the Retail Manager with general retail activities

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, great customer service skills and a willingness to learn.

Previous retail experience will be well regarded, but importantly, we are looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, contributes positively to a team and takes pride in creating a great retail experience.
