About the Role

MS STAR PTY LTD, operating a 7-Eleven store in Maroochydore QLD 4558, is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Store Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is an urgent position for a capable individual who can take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the retail store, maintain high standards of customer service, supervise staff, manage stock and ensure the productive and profitable operation of the business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
- Planning and coordinating store operations to achieve sales and operational targets.
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer concerns are handled professionally.
- Recruiting, training, supervising and supporting retail staff.
- Preparing staff rosters and coordinating shifts to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Monitoring employee performance and ensuring compliance with workplace procedures.
- Managing stock levels, ordering merchandise and coordinating with suppliers.
- Receiving and checking stock deliveries and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
- Monitoring product presentation, pricing, promotions and merchandising.
- Ensuring shelves and displays are appropriately stocked and presented.
- Monitoring sales performance and identifying opportunities to improve store performance.
- Managing cash handling,



point-of-sale procedures and daily store reconciliation.
- Assisting with store budgets, expenses and operational cost control.
- Ensuring the store is maintained in a clean, safe and professional condition.
- Implementing company policies, procedures and operational standards.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable workplace health and safety and retail requirements.
- Handling customer enquiries, feedback and complaints.
- Minimising stock loss and implementing appropriate loss-prevention procedures.
- Working closely with the business owner and staff to maintain efficient store operations.

Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, applicants should have:
- At least one year of relevant retail management or supervisory experience.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Experience supervising and coordinating retail staff.
- Good understanding of stock control, merchandising and retail operations.
- Ability to manage staff rosters and daily operational requirements.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for store operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours as reasonably required by the business.

Salary and Employment

This is a full time position offering an annual salary of $80,000 plus superannuation.

The successful applicant will join an established convenience retail business and will be responsible for supporting the efficient and professional operation of the 7-Eleven store in Maroochydore.

Pay: $79,500.00 – $85,535.47 per year
