We’re looking for an outgoing and energetic person to become part of the team at The Chocolate Factory.

We’re not simply a retail store. We manufacture chocolate and gourmet confectionery right here on the Central Coast, supplying our products to retailers, supermarkets, airports and gift stores across Australia.

Our factory is also a registered visitor destination, with customers coming through our doors to shop, visit our café Patisserie and discover how our products are made.

That’s where you come in.

What will your day look like?

Your main role will be looking after our customers and helping create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere throughout our retail areas.

You’ll talk with customers, help them discover our products, assist with displays and presentation, and generally make sure visitors enjoy their time with us.

You’ll also become one of the faces of our Factory Tours.

We currently run just two scheduled tours on Fridays, where you’ll take visitors through the factory and tell the story behind our business, our products and how we make them.

Don't worry if you don't know anything about making chocolate or confectionery yet — we’ll teach you.





What matters more is that you’re comfortable talking to people and can bring some personality and enthusiasm to the experience.

Who are we looking for?

You might already have experience in retail, hospitality, tourism or another customer-facing position.

More importantly, you’re someone who is neatly dressed and genuinely enjoys dealing with people.

You should be confident speaking to individuals and groups, friendly and approachable, reliable, well presented and willing to get involved wherever needed.

We’d particularly like to hear from someone with plenty of personality who can make a factory tour interesting, entertaining and memorable.

The position

This is a full-time, five-day position, working:

Wednesday to Sunday

9:00am to 4:00pm

Weekend availability is therefore essential.

The annual salary is $53,000 to $56,000, depending on your experience and suitability for the position.
