Casual Position Tasco Petroleum is seeking friendly, reliable and customer-focused Roadhouse Attendants to join our team at Wimpy's Roadhouse - Wodonga.

About the Role

Roadhouse Attendants are responsible for providing friendly, efficient customer service while assisting with the day-to-day operation of the roadhouse.

The Wimpy's Wodonga Restaurant operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and involves day shift, afternoon shift, night shift & weekend shifts.

Casual position: 20-35 hours per week

Pay Rate: $36.85 - $48.07 /hour (Junior rates may apply)

Location: Wimpy's Roadhouse, 178 Melbourne Road, Wodonga Vic 3690

Award: Vehicle Repair, Services and Retail Award 2020

Key duties include:

- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Processing fuel and retail sales, including cash and EFTPOS transactions
- Operating the point-of-sale system and maintaining accurate cash handling
- Replenishing stock and maintaining clean, well-presented retail areas
- Preparing and serving fresh and takeaway food and beverages
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Cleaning retail, kitchen, dining, bathroom and forecourt areas
- Supporting store promotions and daily operational requirements
- Identifying and reporting hazards, incidents, equipment issues and discrepancies
- Working independently and safely when required

About You

We are looking for people who:





- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Are reliable, friendly and well presented
- Have cash handling or retail experience
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Can confidently undertake a variety of retail and food service duties
- Have good attention to detail and follow procedures
- Are physically capable of undertaking the manual tasks associated with the role
- Can work independently following appropriate training
- Are available to work a reasonable number of weekends and public holidays

- Fuel industry and retail operations
- Food safety and food handling
- Workplace health and safety
- Manual handling
- Emergency procedures and fire safety
- Retail security
