Your new role

As the IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing rope access operations across multiple projects while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include

- Managing rope access projects from planning through to successful completion
- Overseeing daily site operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Allocating labour, equipment, and resources across multiple projects
- Monitoring project performance, productivity, and profitability
- Ensuring compliance with IRATA requirements, WHS legislation, and company procedures
- Conducting site inspections, risk assessments, JSA/SWMS reviews, and safety audits
- Leading incident investigations and implementing corrective actions




- Promoting a strong safety culture across all operations
- Leading, mentoring, and developing Rope Access Technicians and Supervisors
- Conducting competency assessments and identifying training requirements
- Providing technical guidance and support to operational teams
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Attending client meetings, project planning sessions, and site inspections
- Providing technical solutions for complex access challenges
- Preparing and reviewing project documentation, compliance records, and operational reports
- Maintaining equipment registers, certifications, and training records
- Assisting with tender submissions, project estimating, and scope development
- Supporting business growth initiatives and identifying new opportunities within the rope access division

What you'll need to succeed

- Current IRATA Level 3 Certification
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the rope access industry
- Proven experience leading and managing rope access teams
- Solid knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and industry standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Current Driver's Licence




- Construction White Card
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- High Risk Work Licences (EWP, Rigging, Scaffolding or similar)
- Experience in industrial maintenance, shutdowns, construction, or infrastructure projects
- Project Management qualifications and/or practical project management experience
