One of Melbourne CBD’s largest real estate agencies is seeking a motivated Sales Assistant / Cadet to join our established sales team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in real estate sales.

You will work closely with experienced Sales Executives, supporting them across prospecting, listings, inspections, marketing and buyer management while learning how to successfully list and sell property in the Melbourne CBD market.

For the right person, this role is designed to progress into a Sales Executive position.

The role

You will support our sales team with:

- Prospecting for new listings and appraisal opportunities

- Making outbound calls and following up prospective vendors

- Assisting Sales Executives with leads and appraisals

- Following up buyers and maintaining relationships with prospective purchasers

- Assisting with open for inspections and private inspections

- Preparing properties for sale and assisting with listing administration

- Supporting property marketing campaigns and sales strategies

- Maintaining accurate CRM records and following up sales opportunities

- Assisting with buyer enquiries and inspection bookings

- Learning the Melbourne CBD apartment market, buildings, values and sales process

- Supporting the wider sales team wherever required

As your experience and capability develop, you will be given greater responsibility, including the opportunity to conduct appraisals, manage listings and ultimately progress into your own Sales Executive role.

We are one of Melbourne CBD’s most prominent real estate agencies, with a well-established history, substantial rent roll and strong market share across many of the CBD’s best residential buildings.

Our sales team sells a wide variety of property, ranging from one-bedroom apartments through to luxury penthouses.





This gives you the opportunity to learn from an experienced team while developing genuine expertise in one of Melbourne’s most active residential property markets.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

- Is serious about building a career in real estate sales

- Is confident communicating with people over the phone and in person

- Is willing to prospect and generate recent business

- Has a strong work ethic and is prepared to learn

- Is organised, reliable and able to follow through on tasks

- Presents professionally

- Is comfortable working as part of a sales team

- Is motivated by the opportunity to eventually become a Sales Executive

- Is either currently studying or has completed the Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice

Agents Representative Certificate.

- Holds a current driver's licence and has access to a reliable vehicle

Previous real estate experience is advantageous but not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, communication skills and ambition to build a career in sales.

- Provide hands-on training and mentoring from experienced Sales Executives

- Teach you how to prospect, appraise, list and sell Melbourne CBD property

- Give you exposure to company-generated leads and appraisal opportunities

- Help you develop detailed knowledge of Melbourne CBD buildings and the apartment market

- Provide a supportive team environment and established office infrastructure

- Give you a genuine pathway to become a Sales Executive if you demonstrate the ability and commitment required
