The Role
This role combines technical engineering expertise with sales and business development, working closely with customers to understand their applications, identify opportunities and develop fit-for-purpose solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers across WA
- Identifying new business opportunities and growing existing accounts
- Providing technical and application support across hydraulic and fluid-power solutions
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate solutions
- Supporting product selection, system design and technical proposals
- Preparing quotations and commercial proposals
- Working closely with OEMs, EPCs, distributors and end users
- Providing technical presentations and customer support
- Assisting with troubleshooting and application-related issues
- Managing opportunities through the sales cycle
- Collaborating with internal engineering, product and service teams
About You:
- An engineering qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related discipline
- Knowledge of hydraulics and/or fluid power systems is a plus
- Experience in technical sales, application engineering or a similar customer-facing engineering role
- Experience within mining, heavy industry, mobile equipment or OEM environments
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness and an ability to identify new opportunities
- The ability to work autonomously and manage customer relationships
- A willingness to travel across WA when required
