The Opportunity
A large Australian private equity-backed organisation is seeking an experienced Debt Capital Markets, Treasury or Corporate Finance professional to play a key role in the delivery of a significant credit rating and debt refinancing program.

Working closely with senior executives, this role will lead critical financing workstreams, coordinate lender and adviser interactions, manage due diligence activities and support engagement with credit rating agencies. This is a highly visible opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys transaction execution, stakeholder management and delivering complex financing outcomes.

This role is ideally suited to candidates from Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, Treasury, Debt Advisory, Infrastructure Finance, Project Finance, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance or M&A; backgrounds who can quickly establish credibility and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the execution and delivery of a credit rating and debt refinancing program.
- Coordinate all financing-related workstreams across internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with lenders, advisers, legal counsel and other key parties.
- Support engagement with credit rating agencies including Moody's, S&P; and Fitch.
- Lead due diligence processes and coordinate responses to information requests.
- Prepare and oversee information memoranda, lender presentations, financial models and supporting documentation.
- Develop and articulate a compelling credit narrative that clearly communicates the organisation's financial strength, business model and future growth prospects.




- Anticipate and address lender and rating agency concerns through robust financial analysis and effective stakeholder management.
- Support negotiations relating to debt facilities, covenant packages, financing structures, pricing and commercial terms.
- Establish governance frameworks, project plans and reporting processes across refinancing workstreams.
- Prepare high-quality Board papers, investment committee materials and executive presentations.
- Identify financing risks, opportunities and market considerations and recommend appropriate actions.
- Partner with senior leadership to support critical financing and capital structure decisions.

About You

- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting debt refinancing transactions.
- Strong understanding of debt structures, debt capital markets and financing documentation.
- Experience engaging with lenders, debt investors, banks and external advisers.
- Exposure to credit rating agency processes and assessments.
- Strong due diligence, transaction management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability.
- A track record of preparing lender presentations, investment materials and executive-level reports.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.




- Experience operating in a private equity-backed, infrastructure, asset-intensive or highly leveraged environment will be highly regarded.
