Are you an experienced Workforce Planning Coordinator with a background in rostering, scheduling, and workforce optimisation within the mining and resources sector?

We are partnering with a growing mining services organisation to recruit a Workforce Planning Coordinator to join their operations team. Supporting major resource clients across Western Australia, including Rio Tinto and Fortescue (FMG), this role offers the prospect to play a key part in workforce planning and operational delivery.

About the Role Reporting to the Workforce Planning Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating workforce allocation, rostering, and scheduling activities to ensure operational requirements are met across multiple sites and projects.

Working within a collaborative team of five, you will liaise closely with recruitment, mobilisation, operations, and site stakeholders to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate workforce rosters and scheduling activities across multiple projects and client sites
- Manage workforce utilisation and resource allocation
- Monitor fatigue management requirements and workforce compliance
- Support operational planning activities and workforce forecasting
- Liaise with operations teams, mobilisation coordinators, and recruiters to ensure workforce requirements are achieved
- Respond to changing operational demands and workforce shortages
- Maintain accurate workforce records and reporting




- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the workforce planning function

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in workforce planning, rostering, scheduling, resource planning, or workforce coordination
- Experience within mining, resources, labour hire, FIFO, or project environments
- Strong understanding of workforce utilisation and fatigue management principles
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Advanced administration and coordination capabilities
- Experience supporting major mining clients such as Rio Tinto and Fortescue (FMG) will be highly regarded

Working Hours

- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am - 4:30pm standard hours
