With housing affordability being a serious and real issue for many Australian’s, they have successfully housed over 2000 + Canberrans.

The Prospect

Due to a concentrated surge in workload, the Operations and Tenancy Services team require a leasing officer to support them for an initial 6-month period.

Your efforts will be greatly appreciated and reduce the administrative pressure on Tenancy and Applications Officers.

Whilst an extension beyond the 6 months can’t be guaranteed, this business is positioned for growth.

The Role

As a Leasing Officer, you’ll be responsible for:

- Coordinating property viewings, prospective tenant follow-up and leasing appointments for new supply coming online
- Preparing, issuing and supporting execution of lease documentation, including bond lodgement and related tenancy commencement tasks




- Assisting with application assessment administration, follow-up responses and accurate record keeping
- Supporting tenancy exit processing, including vacate administration, exit paperwork and bond release coordination
- Maintaining timely data entry, workflow tracking and communication with internal stakeholders to support handover and occupancy milestones
- Escalating issues that may delay lease-up, application processing or tenancy transitions

The Ideal Person

You will have worked in leasing, or property management and be familiar with legislation as it applies to tenancies in the ACT.

In addition, you will have:

- Strong attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication
- The ability to manage high-volume
- Time-sensitive tasks
- Confidence using tenancy, property or records management systems

Experience with REI Forms and SNUG is highly desirable, but not essential.

Salary / Rate

- $45/hr – $55/hr + Super
- 6-month labour hire contract, full-time
- Based on the north side of Canberra
