About the Chance

We're looking for an experienced and confident Forklift Operator and Storeperson to join our ZEDER warehouse team in Archerfield.

This is a hands-on role with approximately 80% of your time focused on dispatch and warehouse apron/yard operations - wrapping and strapping pallets, staging completed freight and safely loading trucks using a forklift.

You'll play an important role in keeping freight moving safely and efficiently from our warehouse onto our carriers.

The remaining time will involve supporting general warehouse operations as required, so you'll still need to be comfortable jumping in and completing standard storeperson duties when needed.

In this role, you'll:

- Operate forklifts safely and confidently to move, stage and load palletised freight.

- Manage the day-to-day flow of freight through the warehouse apron/yard and loading area.

- Use an automatic pallet wrapping machine to securely wrap completed pallets ready for transport.

- Strap and secure pallets to ensure freight is safe and ready for dispatch.

- Stage completed pallets in the correct carrier and loading areas.

- Load trucks safely, accurately and efficiently.

- Coordinate loading priorities and maintain an organised warehouse apron/yard.

- Ensure freight is appropriately secured and presented before it leaves site.

- Work closely with the outbound and dispatch teams to keep freight flowing and minimise loading delays.

- Maintain clear and safe forklift, pedestrian and truck movements within the loading area.

- Assist with picking,



packing, replenishment, put-away, stock movements and other general warehouse duties when required.

- Support stocktakes and general inventory activities as needed.

- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse and warehouse apron/yard while following all workplace health and safety procedures.

About You

- Hold a current Forklift Licence - essential.

- Are a confident and experienced forklift operator, particularly around trucks, loading areas and palletised freight.

- Have previous experience in dispatch, transport loading, warehouse apron/yard operations or a similar environment.

- Are comfortable spending the majority of your shift operating around the warehouse apron/yard and truck-loading area.

- Understand safe truck loading, load restraint, pallet stability and freight handling practices.

- Have experience wrapping and strapping pallets or are confident learning to use an automatic pallet wrapping machine.

- Can manage competing loading priorities while keeping the warehouse apron/yard organised and freight moving.

- Have strong spatial awareness and take forklift and pedestrian safety seriously.

- Are physically capable of completing hands-on warehouse work.

- Are happy to jump in and assist with general storeperson duties when required.

- Are reliable, organised and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

- Take pride in doing the job safely and correctly the first time.

- Work well as part of a busy warehouse team.
