About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher for a full time position in Perth. This role offers the prospect to teach Years 7–12 English, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ literacy, writing, language, and analytical skills. You will inspire a love of English, foster critical thinking, and support student growth across all year levels.

Key responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver student-centered English lessons for Years 7–12

- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support learning

- Integrate technology and contemporary assessment tools into teaching

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum

- Support student wellbeing and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment

What we are looking for:





- Bachelor of Education (English) or equivalent

- Full registration with the relevant WA teaching authority

- Valid Working with Children Check

- Experience teaching Years 7–12 English

- Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills

- Commitment to student development and inclusive education

- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other learning management tools
