Prospero Teaching is delighted to be partnering with a catholic Primary School to appoint a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join the school community for Term 4, 2026.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a teacher who loves working with younger learners and wants to become part of a welcoming school community where relationships, faith, learning and student wellbeing are genuinely valued.

The Role
The successful teacher will:
- Teach across Prep to Year 2
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy
- Create a warm, safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Develop positive relationships with students and families
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership
- Contribute to the wider school and faith community
- Support students' social, emotional and academic development
- Take part in ongoing professional learning and school activities

About You
The school is looking for a teacher who is:
- Warm, caring and relationship-focused
- Passionate about early years and primary education
- Confident teaching Prep–Year 2
- Committed to creating an inclusive classroom
- A solid communicator and team player
- Organised and enthusiastic
- Committed to student wellbeing and achievement
- Hold or be eligible for VIT registration
- Accredited, or willing to obtain accreditation, to teach in a Catholic school
Two recent professional references will be required, including one from a Principal or Deputy Principal where possible.
