About Our School A Catholic systemic secondary school for boys in the Marist tradition, Years 7-12 (currently 980 students), Marcellin College Randwick forms honourable young men who can contribute to the creation of a better world. About You
As a School Support Officer (Level 4), you will be an integral member of the school community, you will demonstrate Marcellin College Randwick's values and professional standards in interacting with students, staff, parents and the community.
This position is full-time Monday to Friday 9am - 3pm (hours negotiable).
You must be able to demonstrate:
- strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills and ability to deal sensitively with students, parents/carers and staff when required
- excellent organisational skills including the ability to work effectively in a busy environment, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- experience working in administration with advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office and Google suite) and accuracy and attention to detail
- experience with CiA and Compass or the ability to learn new systems
- ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
- proven ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required
- a willingness to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural workplace for students
- a willingness to perform other duties as directed by the Principal
- a Certificate III/ IV (TAFE NSW) or equivalent post-secondary qualification in administration, human resources, finance, accounting or equivalent.
