WHO WE ARE**

Screen Territory is the Northern Territory Government’s screen agency. We support and grow the film, television, games and digital media industries across the Northern Territory, with recent productions including Kangaroo, Deadloch Season 2, Top End Bub, NCIS: Sydney and Territory.

As an agency we fund and attract production, develop local practitioners, and connect NT stories with broadcasters, streamers, distributors and production partners.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an organised Screen Content and Development Manager to deliver programs that grow a professional, viable and sustainable NT screen industry. Working across screen investment, content and project development, production, industry capability and strategic partnerships, you will connect NT practitioners with opportunities, programs and national screen partners while helping build a qualified, viable and sustainable local industry.

You will work in Screen Territory within the Department of Tourism and Hospitality. The role is full time, AO7, based in Darwin, for a 6-month term. Salary is $120,877 – $130,039.

You will

- Build relationships with NT screen practitioners, broadcasters, streamers, agencies, distributors and production companies
- Create partnerships across the public and private sectors to grow the NT screen and games industry
- Manage funding programs and contracts across project development and production
- Guide local practitioners and connect them with Screen Territory programs
- Design and deliver training, upskilling and industry events
- Provide written advice,



data and policy briefings to the Senior Director
- Support financial and budget management
- Keep current on market trends, technology and work in other screen agencies
- Represent Screen Territory at local and national events and forums

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE You can work independently and as part of a small high-intensity team. You proactively move strategy into delivery.

You will bring

- Knowledge of the screen sector and industry trends
- Experience in industry development, training, production investment or physical production
- Strong project management skills and the ability to deliver on time
- Productive relationships with government and industry stakeholders
- High-level written and verbal communication
- Contract management experience
- The ability to run training programs and screen events
- Confidence working with people from diverse cultures

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are desirable. Public sector experience and a principled, professional approach will be well regarded.

Screen Territory is the Northern Territory Government's screen industry agency responsible for supporting and developing the film, television and digital media industries within the Northern Territory.

As the Screen Content and Development Manager you will join the agency to deliver a program of activities and services to further enable the development and growth of the Northern Territory (NT) Screen Industry that is professional, viable and sustainable, producing sought-after quality content.

You will manage screen industry development initiatives and funding programs, screen events, delivery of training and upskilling programs to maximise opportunities for local screen practitioners and increasing the scale and long-term sustainability of the NT screen sector.

Develop strong relationships with NT screen practitioners, production companies, broadcasters, streamers distributors and other potential partners in NT screen projects.
