Kyah Hotel & Blaq Restaurant & Bar are looking for friendly, experienced hospitality people to join our team across Guest Services at Kyah and Section Waiting at Blaq.

These casual roles are ideal for people who are confident, service-driven, and genuinely passionate about creating great guest experiences. You’ll be part of a close-knit hospitality team, working across two unique Blue Mountains venues.

The Roles

Guest Services — Kyah Hotel

Our Guest Services team are the welcoming face of Kyah, helping create a relaxed, seamless experience for guests from arrival through to departure.

Section Waiters — Blaq Restaurant & Bar

Our section waiters are responsible for delivering warm, attentive service across their restaurant section and helping keep service running smoothly from start to finish.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Deliver warm, professional, and attentive service to all guests
- Create a welcoming and positive experience from arrival through to departure
- For Guest Services at Kyah:
- assist guests with their enquiries and provide helpful, friendly service throughout their stay
- Maintain strong knowledge of relevant hotel, restaurant, and guest information to assist with enquiries and recommendations
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure an efficient and seamless guest experience
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism




- For Section Waiters at Blaq:
- Confidently take food and beverage orders, with clear communication to the kitchen and team
- Run food and drinks, including tray service, while maintaining presentation standards
- Set, clear, and maintain tables to ensure a clean and service-ready setting
- Maintain strong knowledge of relevant hotel, restaurant, and guest information to assist with enquiries and recommendations
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure an efficient and seamless guest experience
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism
