We are a small, well-established security screen manufacturing business seeking a reliable and skilled Factory All-Rounder to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This role suits someone who is hands-on, takes pride in their work, and can operate autonomously while contributing positively to a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cutting aluminum and materials using factory saws
- Assembling security doors and security screens
- Reading and working from measurements and specifications
- Maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail
- General factory duties and housekeeping
- Identifying and resolving issues as they arise
- Working to deadlines
About You:
- Prior experience in manufacturing security screens or doors is highly regarded
- Candidates must have manufacturing experience, as those without prior security screen or door manufacturing experience will only be considered with relevant manufacturing background
- Confident and safe using saws and air tools
- Minimum of 2+ years experience with factory saws and air tools is required
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Able to work autonomously and problem-solve effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and well organised
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Hours & Remuneration:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Hours: 6:30am – 3:00pm Monday - Thursday, 6.30am - 1pm Friday
- Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 per year, depending on experience
