Summary

Take the lead in shaping and advancing a specialist test automation capability that supports reliable, sustainable technology solutions. As the Senior Advisor – Automation Engineer, you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise to establish scalable automation practices across projects and business-as-usual delivery. You will develop reusable frameworks, strengthen regression coverage and provide clear insights that improve release confidence and system readiness. This is an opportunity to influence automation strategy, uplift capability across delivery teams and contribute to the successful delivery of important digital initiatives.

About the opportunity

In this position you will:

- Lead the development and implementation of test automation strategies, roadmaps, standards and governance practices
- Design, build, maintain and optimise reusable automation frameworks, assets and test suites
- Provide specialist guidance on automation tools, frameworks and implementation approache
- Deliver hands-on automation planning, scripting, execution, analysis and reporting for priority initiatives
- Establish effective scheduling,



execution and reporting practices that provide visibility of automation outcomes and release readiness
- Use automation to support early defect detection, test data validation and system and integration assurance
- Build automation capability across project and operational teams through coaching, practical support and reusable patterns
- Prepare technical analysis and recommendations to inform tool selection, investment priorities and continuous improvement

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

- Advanced hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca, including the design, development and maintenance of enterprise-scale test automation solutions
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple automation tools and frameworks, with the ability to assess and apply the most appropriate technologies to meet business needs.Strong technical capability in automation scripting, execution, analysis and troubleshooting
- The ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical delivery
- Experience developing reusable automation assets that improve testing efficiency, consistency and coverage
- Sound knowledge of regression testing, environment assurance, release readiness and quality practices
- The ability to evaluate tools and approaches and provide clear, evidence-based technical recommendations
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to coach and guide others
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or experience in a similar position, with Tricentis Tosca experience highly regarded
