Senior Associate (Corporate Banking) | Bank of China Sydney

Bank of China is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Senior Associate (Corporate Banking) to join the Sydney Office.

This is a Two Year Term Contract, with strong potential to convert to an ongoing role upon successful completion.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in identifying and developing recent business opportunities, and support the delivery of comprehensive banking services and products to customers
- Support relationship managers in maintaining and developing existing customer relationships
- Assist in conducting preliminary credit analysis and preparing credit applications, annual reviews and related documentation under supervision
- Support the execution of credit and advisory transactions under the guidance of senior team members
- Assist in post-lending management, including monitoring customers' credit profile changes and preparing relevant reports
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of the Branch's development strategies and annual business plans for corporate banking
- Support the management of group customer credit facilities,



credit limits, major project onboarding and post-lending administration
- Liaise and coordinate with relevant Head Office divisions on policy implementation, business coordination and statistical reporting
- Assist in conducting industry research and market analysis to support business development initiatives and credit strategy planning

To be considered, possessing following skills and experience are essential:

- 3 years' experience in banking industry, corporate / institutional banking or similar
- Tertiary education in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
- Strong knowledge in project finance, corporate lending, or corporate financial advisory preferred
- Good knowledge of market information and related regulatory requirement
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writing skills in English and Mandarin
