About the Opportunity

McConnell Dowell is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join the commercial team delivering the Kwinana Freeway Widening Project.

Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will play a critical role in managing subcontractor relationships, protecting the project's commercial position and driving strong commercial outcomes throughout delivery.

This is far more than a traditional contract administration role. You'll join the project during the early stages of delivery and have the opportunity to influence systems, processes and commercial strategy while working alongside some of the industry's most experienced infrastructure professionals.

Key Responsibilities





- Administer and manage subcontract and supplier contracts throughout project delivery.
- Assess, negotiate and manage variations, claims and contractual entitlements.
- Support forecasting, cost control and commercial reporting activities.
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
- Mentor and support Contract Administrators within the commercial team.

What Will You Bring?
- Experience as a Senior Contract Administrator on major civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated experience managing subcontractor contracts, claims and variations.
- Sound understanding of construction contracts and commercial administration principles.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across project and delivery teams.
- Experience across major roads, bridges, rail or transport infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
