Job Description
The Role
n
The primary focus of this role is ensuring all onsite metal/tile roofing and roof plumbing activities are completed in a safe, timely manner and to a standard that complies with Australian Building Codes. The role is 90% site based with a large focus on roof inspections/measuring and providing accurate information to the office team.

The primary focus of this role is ensuring all onsite metal/tile roofing and roof plumbing activities are completed in a safe, timely manner and to a standard that complies with Australian Building Codes. The role is 90% site based with a large focus on roof inspections/measuring and providing accurate information to the office team. This role is in greater Sydney region, reporting to the Managing Director, and working with internal managers and client representatives.

Key Tasks And Responsibilities Include
n
n
- Always execute jobs within health and safety parameters.
n
- Comply with all safety programs for each job and make sure that all aspects of safety are reached
n
- Conduct weekly safety audits to identify and eliminate safety hazards on site
n
- Conduct regular onsite toolbox meetings with sub-contractors and wage teams
n
- Adhere to compliance obligations and timeframes
n
- Ensure expenses incurred on the job fall within the stipulated company budget
n
- Maintain quality standards via inspections on all aspects of roof plumbing and maintenance works
n
- Provide timely feedback to the Operations Team with roof measures maintenance inspections and trade performance
n
- Facilitate all onsite meetings with subcontractors, building site managers and clients
n
- Develop and maintain service provided by trades and suppliers. Report any inefficiencies to the Management Team.

About You
n
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:
n
n
- A safety-first mindset
n
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the residential building or adjacent industry and/or a relevant trade qualification
n
- Excellent verbal communications, problem-solving and time management skills
n
- Experience in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering working drawings, soil reports and specifications
n
- General understanding of construction methods and procedures as per Australian Standards
n
- Ability to deliver work within a stipulated time frame or deadline
n
- Ability to engage and build rapport with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
n
n

n
