What You'll Be Doing...

In this diverse and impactful role, you'll provide end-to-end leasing support across a large property portfolio, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to deliver practical, commercially focused outcomes while helping drive the success of the Property Legal function.

- Own the Leasing Lifecycle - Manage retail leases, licences, renewals, variations, surrenders and associated documentation across the Group's property portfolio ensuring matters progress efficiently and effectively.
n
- Lead Documentation & Execution - Prepare, review and negotiate leasing documentation while managing contract execution, registration, stamping requirements and PEXA workspaces.
n
- Manage Risk & Compliance - Ensure compliance with leasing legislation and internal policies and provide practical recommendations to manage leasing risks.
n
- Build Trusted Relationships - Partner with internal stakeholders, landlords, agents and external legal providers to facilitate successful outcomes and provide timely, commercially focused support.
n
- Shape the Future of Property Legal - Contribute to legal projects, reporting, process improvements, template development and initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of the Property Legal function.

You'll bring...

- Leasing Expertise That Delivers - Experience as a Leasing Paralegal, with strong knowledge of leasing and property law, including retail leasing legislation.
n
- Own Matters End-to-End - Proven experience managing high-volume leasing matters from instruction through to completion,
ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
n
- Build Trusted Relationships - Outstanding stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently engage across all levels.
n
- Think Commercially, Advise Confidently - Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify risks, provide practical recommendations and support informed business decisions.
n
- Precision in Every Detail - Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Technology-Enabled and Solutions Focussed - Strong proficiency with PEXA, DocuSign and Microsoft Office, combined with a proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
n

Highly Regarded
n
n
- Experience gained within a mid-tier or top-tier law firm
n
- In-house experience within a retail, FMCG or large multi-site organisation
n
- Exposure to Copilot, Power Automate or other legal technology tools
n
n
