The Accounts Payable team within Shared Services Finance is currently seeking enthusiastic and dynamic team players to join our team of experts.
We currently have several temporary (with the possibility of permanency) Senior Finance Officer (ASO4) positions available.

About the team The Accounts Payable function sits within the Finance Operations area of Shared Services Finance. Finance Operations are well known for providing exceptional accounts payable, accounts receivable, debt management, banking operations, and business intelligence services across the ACT Government.
What We’re Looking For

- Solid experience in accounts payable or financial operations, preferably within government or large-scale organisations.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.

with the ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, including managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Adaptability and initiative, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting evolving business needs.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Operations environment is highly desirable.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of six months with the possibility of permanency. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be made on application and referees report only.
