The opportunity

We are growing and seeking an experienced Senior Hairdresser to join our team at CaLeah and Co in Avoca Beach NSW. This is apart-time position, with the potential of moving to full-time for the right person, that offers flexibility whilst allowing you to be creative and build meaningful relationships with your clients . As a Senior Hairdresser, you will bring your expertise and passion for hairdressing to deliver exceptional client experiences and contribute to the creative direction of the salon.

This role is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and helping us continue to build on our loyal client base.

Key responsibilities

- Maintaining a high standard of service to each client
- Consulting with clients to understand their needs, preferences and hair care goals
- Contributing to the creative development of the salon and providing input on new techniques and trends
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage repeat bookings and referrals
- Assisting with salon administration tasks as required, including appointment scheduling and inventory management
- Staying up to date with industry trends, products and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for





- Current qualification as a hairdresser with recognised certification or apprenticeship completion
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a senior stylist
- Demonstrated expertise in a range of hairdressing techniques, including cutting, colouring and styling
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to client satisfaction
- Knowledge of hair care products, treatments and industry best practices
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a part-time schedule and adapt to salon requirements
- Professional presentation and a genuine passion for hairdressing
