About the role

We're working with an established Sydney fintech on the hunt for a Senior iOS Developer to join their growing mobile team. This is a profitable, product-led business with thousands of paying customers who genuinely rely on the product every day - and they're investing in mobile for the long term.

They've recently brought a Senior Android Engineer into the Sydney team and are now looking for a Senior iOS Developer to build alongside them. You'll be a key part of a small, sharp mobile team, taking features from architecture through to release and owning quality end to end.

What you'll be doing

- Designing and building new features across the iOS app using Swift and SwiftUI
- Taking ownership of functionality from concept through to production release and beyond
- Collaborating closely with product, design and other engineers to deliver a seamless experience
- Writing clean, well-tested, maintainable code and improving test coverage across the codebase
- Providing thoughtful code reviews and helping lift the standard across the team
- Contributing to the Android app over time (no prior Android experience required - just a willingness to learn)

What you'll bring





- Solid commercial experience building iOS apps with Swift and SwiftUI
- Strong grasp of the fundamentals of mobile development
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
- A genuine care for clean, maintainable code and good software/product design
- Excellent communication and a collaborative, team-first approach
- Curiosity and empathy for the end user - you consider the impact of what you build

Nice to have

- Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform or Android development
- Experience in fintech, payments or another domain where quality really matters
- Any experience with hybrid apps, Ruby on Rails or React

A few important things to know

- This is a fully in-office role - 5 days a week in the Sydney CBD. The team works best in person and that's by design.
- You must be Sydney-based with full working rights. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Permanent, full-time position.
