The Opportunity
As the Senior Partnerships Officer at the City of Perth, you’ll join a dynamic and forward-thinking team at the heart of the City’s vibrant events portfolio. In this exciting role, you’ll take a proactive and strategic approach to driving revenue generation, supporting the delivery of the City’s annual event program, and helping position Perth as a premier destination for world-class events and experiences.
You’ll lead the development of targeted partnership strategies that not only deliver measurable results but also elevate the City’s reputation and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and sponsors.
Reporting to the Manager Strategic Partnerships within our City Events team, your responsibilities would primarily include:
- Deliver the City’s partnership portfolio, ensuring successful activations and sponsor outcomes.
- Develop and implement innovative partnership strategies that strengthen Perth’s profile as a leading events destination.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to achieve shared success.
- Prepare compelling sponsorship proposals, submissions and acquittals.
- Collaborate across teams to create engaging campaigns and activations that deliver real impact.
About You You’re a confident relationship-builder with a strategic mindset and a flair for delivering results. You know how to connect with stakeholders, manage multiple projects, and turn outstanding ideas into impactful partnerships. Your Skills And Experience Include
- Proven experience developing and managing partnerships or sponsorships that align with organisational goals.
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent project management, communication, and attention to detail.
- A proactive, collaborative and creative approach to achieving results
