Location: Australia — remote / hybrid
Salary: A$120,000–A$145,000 + super
Employment: Full-time
About ADHD SimpleADHD Simple is building a better way for people to access ADHD healthcare.
We've grown rapidly across New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom by combining excellent clinical care, technology and a radically simpler patient experience.
We've now reached the point where we want to significantly accelerate growth in Australia and the UK.
We're looking for an exceptional Senior Performance Marketing Manager to help us do it.
This is a hands-on role.
You'll personally own and optimise our major paid acquisition channels, work directly with our Head of Marketing, designer and developer, and have significant freedom to test new ideas.
Your objective is straightforward
Help us get more people who need ADHD care into assessments, at a sustainable acquisition cost.
What you'll ownYou'll take day-to-day ownership of paid acquisition across Australia and the United Kingdom.
Initially, that will primarily mean Meta and Google, but we don't want someone who thinks growth begins and ends with those two platforms.
You'll own
- Paid acquisition across Meta and Google
- Campaign architecture, setup and optimisation
- Budget allocation across markets, channels and campaigns
- Customer acquisition cost
- Paid assessment volume
- Creative testing
- Audience and targeting strategy
- Search strategy
- Landing-page performance
- Tracking and attribution
- Performance forecasting
- Weekly performance analysis
- Identifying and testing new acquisition channels
You'll have access to an existing designer and developer, so if you identify something that needs changing, we want you to be able to get it built. The opportunityWe're not looking for someone to maintain a mature advertising account.
We're looking for someone who wants to scale one.
Australia and the UK are major growth opportunities for us, and we believe there is considerably more demand available than we're capturing today.
We want you constantly asking:
What's stopping us from doubling?
Is it spend?
Creative?
CAC?
Conversion?
Search demand?
Landing pages?
Our offer?
Our messaging?
A new channel?
You'll work with our Head of Marketing to find those constraints, test solutions and scale what works.
What you'll actually doA typical week might include:
- Reviewing performance and reallocating budget between campaigns
- Analysing marginal CAC as spend increases
- Finding opportunities in Google search data
- Identifying creative fatigue before it materially impacts performance
- Briefing our designer on new paid-social concepts
- Launching multiple new creative tests
- Working with our developer on a new landing-page experiment
- Comparing Australian and UK funnel performance
- Investigating why a particular audience or campaign has suddenly improved
- Forecasting what happens if we increase spend by 25%, 50% or 100%
- Testing a completely new acquisition channel
- Killing experiments that aren't working and scaling the ones that are
We expect you to be inside the accounts, not managing someone else who is. What we're looking forYou probably have 4–8 years of performance/growth marketing experience, although we're much more interested in what you've achieved than the number of years you've worked.
You'll ideally have personally managed meaningful paid-media budgets for a fast-growing consumer business.
Experience in consumer healthcare, DTC, marketplaces, subscription businesses or high-growth technology companies would be particularly relevant.
You should be able to show us examples where you've:
- Significantly scaled paid acquisition
- Managed substantial Meta and Google budgets directly
- Increased spend while maintaining acceptable CAC
- Used creative testing to materially improve performance
- Made budget decisions based on marginal returns rather than platform ROAS alone
- Improved conversion beyond the advertising platform
- Built useful attribution and reporting
- Identified why performance changed rather than simply reporting that it changed
- You're probably a great fit if...You're unusually comfortable with numbers. You know Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads extremely well.
You understand the difference between platform-reported ROAS and actual incremental performance.
You can look at an account and quickly identify what you want to investigate.
You care about completed assessments, not clicks.
You understand that creative is increasingly one of the biggest levers in paid social.
You enjoy experimenting.
You're commercially minded.
You'd rather test something than spend three weeks discussing whether it might work.
And you're comfortable saying
"This isn't working. Here's why I think it's happening, and here's what I want to test next."
You won't be working aloneYou'll work closely with our:
Head of Marketing — overall marketing strategy, positioning and growth priorities
Designer — rapid production and iteration of advertising creative
Developer — landing pages, tracking, funnel improvements and experiments
And as we scale, we'll add additional creative, content, lifecycle and growth capabilities around you.
We want to build an exceptional in-house growth team, not recreate an agency relationship internally.
How we'll measure successYour core scorecard will be deliberately simple:
Australia
- Completed assessments from paid acquisition
- Customer acquisition cost
- Spend scalability
- Conversion rate
United Kingdom
- Completed assessments from paid acquisition
- Customer acquisition cost
- Spend scalability
- Conversion rate
We'll also look at creative testing velocity, channel diversification and the quality of experiments you're running. We don't particularly care whether CTR increased by 12% if it doesn't ultimately help us acquire more patients sustainably.
How we workWe're a fast-moving healthcare company with an unusually strong technology focus.
We build much of our technology ourselves and constantly look for ways to make both the patient and clinician experience better.
You'll have access to decision-makers, a designer and a developer rather than submitting tickets into a six-week backlog.
We want the feedback loop between:
idea → creative → campaign → data → learning → next experiment to be extremely short.
You'll have significant autonomy, but also significant accountability.
CompensationA$120,000–A$145,000 + super
We're willing to be adaptable for someone with an exceptional track record of scaling consumer acquisition.
What we'd love to seeDon't just send us a CV.
Tell us about one growth problem you've solved.
What was the business?
What were you spending?
What wasn't working?
What did you change?
What happened to volume and CAC?
It doesn't need to be a polished case study.
- We'd rather see how you think.
