We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform Software Engineer / Developer to join an Australian Government digital transformation program.

? Working Arrangement: Hybrid – flexible office / work-from-home

? Level: Senior / EL1 equivalent

⏳ Contract: 12 months + up to 2 × 12-month extensions

? ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This role is suited to a senior software engineer who can combine Power Platform development, full-stack engineering and technical leadership within a small, high-performing multidisciplinary delivery workplace.

You will contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of an enterprise digital portal, working closely with technical and business teams to deliver secure, scalable and user-focused solutions.

? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and enhance solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Power Platform
- Build and maintain Power Pages solutions
- Develop modern, responsive front-end applications
- Design and implement full-stack solutions integrating front-end and backend services
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and cloud-based services
- Work with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies
- Apply established application architectures, development patterns and reusable components
- Contribute to source control, automated testing and CI/CD practices
- Provide technical guidance and contribute to development standards
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and multidisciplinary delivery teams
- Analyse complex technical requirements and develop practical solutions
- Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative engineering environment

- Strong commercial experience developing Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Power Platform solutions
- Proven full-stack software development experience
- Strong front-end development capability
- Experience integrating applications with APIs and backend services
- Strong understanding of Azure and cloud integration technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary Agile delivery teams
- Ability to work effectively in a small, high-performing team environment

? DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE Experience with AI and intelligent automation , including:

- Azure AI
- Microsoft Copilot
- AI Builder
- Generative AI
- Agent-based solutions

Relevant Microsoft certifications across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure or AI will also be highly regarded. ? LOCATION & WORKING ARRANGEMENT

Canberra-based candidates are strongly preferred.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement , with flexibility between office and work-from-home, subject to business requirements.
