- Remuneration: $172,761 to $193,229 pa (HEW10) (inclusive of $145,985 to $163,281 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading).

- Location: Both Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager, People Services Initiatives to join Office of the Chief People Officer, People Services, Administrative Division.

The Senior Project Manager, People Services Initiatives plays a lead role in managing and coordinating the key activities of a range of projects. In conjunction with Working Groups and senior leadership, the position will coordinate and undertake a range of activities including, but not limited to, stakeholder engagement, project definition, requirements analysis, scoping and planning, interpretation of legislative requirements, development of communication plans, designs and specifications, training, post implementation support, evaluation and recommendations.

The Senior Project

Manager will have experience in building and managing stakeholder relationships in large and complex organisations and be comfortable leading and negotiating implementation arrangements across those stakeholder groups. The position will ensure work undertaken complies with the applicable QUT policies and procedures including QUT’s Project Delivery Framework.

What You Need To Succeed

- Education, training, and/or relevant experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications in conjunction with experience leading projects within a complex and fast paced organisation.

- Proven capability and skills in the end-to-end application of contemporary project management techniques, tools and methodologies across a range of complex applications and technology projects.

- High level analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to interpret legislation, identify emerging issues, trends and opportunities and provide insightful recommendations and advice.

- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strategic relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

- Highly developed interpersonal and verbal skills and written communication skills including preparing clear and concise documentation or presentations for varied audiences.

- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement
