About you

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about conservation, natural resource management and working collaboratively. To be successful in the role, you will also have:

- Ability to guide and support core programs including pest management and health check programs.
- Solid communications skills and the ability to support operational units deliver desired outcomes.
- Ability to build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders of pest management, management planning, and engagement with our First Nations partners.
- Ability to interpret and implement department policy and legislative requirements to ensure pest, firearms, restricted poisons, general biosecurity obligations and biodiversity matters are met.
- High level writing and data presentation skills to contribute to management planning and the development of key thematic strategies.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a geographically dispersed team.
- Strong initiative,



problem solving and resolution skills.
- Project management fundamentals including planning, reporting and budgets in liaison with relative units.
- Mapping and data collection skills (desirable, not mandatory).
- Willingness to listen, learn and participate.
