Not every exceptional accountant wants to become a Partner. Some genuinely enjoy what they do best: technical accounting, solving complex tax issues, reviewing quality work and mentoring the next generation of accountants.

We are representing an established Chartered Accounting practice in Perth’s western suburbs seeking an experienced Senior Reviewer to become a key member of its senior team.

This is an opportunity to remain technically focused while having genuine influence over the quality and capability of the practice.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Directors, Senior Managers and accounting team, you’ll be a trusted technical resource across the practice.

You’ll be responsible for

- Reviewing financial statements and taxation compliance work
- Reviewing work across individuals, trusts, companies, partnerships and SMSFs
- Providing technical accounting and taxation guidance
- Mentoring and developing junior and intermediate accountants
- Supporting Directors with quality assurance and risk management
- Helping drive consistently high standards across the practice




- Contributing to technical knowledge and continuous improvement

About You You may currently be a Senior Accountant, Manager, Review Manager or experienced public practice professional who enjoys the technical side of accounting and wants a senior role without necessarily pursuing Partnership.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

- CA or CPA qualification
- 7+ years’ public practice experience
- Strong taxation and accounting knowledge
- Experience reviewing financial statements and income tax returns
- Excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- A polished, professional presentation and confidence dealing with a high-quality client base

This could also suit an experienced accountant who has stepped away from the workforce and is ready to return , or someone later in their career who wants to continue using their technical expertise in a valued senior position. A Different Kind of Senior Role
