About The Opportunity

n

An prospect has arisen for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Mechanical Supervisor and work on a 2:2 roster (day and night shift).

n

Your focus will be on maintaining both surface and underground equipment, as well as identifying opportunities to improve safety and equipment performance.

n

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

n

- Assisting with the installation, commissioning, and modification of mechanical systems.
n
- Maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, including conveyors, crushers, pumps, valves, and hydraulic systems.
n
- Troubleshooting issues to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
n
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, while supporting safety initiatives.
n
- Working closely with trades, engineers, and supervisors to support smooth operations.
n
- Keeping accurate records, including inspection reports, work orders, and inventory.
n

About You

n





Our ideal candidate will have a mechanical maintenance background, including experience with fixed plant processing equipment in the mining industry.

Other Key Skills, Experience, And Qualifications

- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting).
n
- C Class Driver's Licence (manual).
n
- Well-versed in using maintenance management systems.
n
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
